The existing configuration to the rear of this house was congested and not suitable for a modern family lifestyle. We retained the general location of the existing bathroom and kitchen though reconfigured these areas to connect better to the front entry and lounge area and to encourage a better relationship to the existing rear courtyard space. A series of bi-folds at the rear assisted with this relationship.
